The Tree Ring is a five-person band, making chamber-inspired folk music in San Diego.

To bring their music into the recording studio, The Tree Ring had to first bring in the funding. That was our cue.

We knew prospective donors would connect if we shared some of what sets the band apart — like their non-traditional approach to recording, their unique instruments and their intimate neighborhood shows. So we did just that. And it worked. Supporters showed ‘em the money well before deadline.
