With Thirst, you can discover stories, share articles, discuss current events — and ditch the information overload. In this commercial, we wanted to show and tell why everyone should use it.
We explored the historical mediums for information, using a grainy, vintage-y effect. Yes, the iMac G3 makes a cameo. The voiceover talks about our search for knowledge, while fancy motion titles illustrate how we’re immersed in content today and how Thirst filters it to help us find what matters. Finally, we previewed the user interface with some split-screen tricks.
