This Friday, July 27th, airs the premiere of Antwon’s music video for his track “Living Every Dream”.

The San Francisco Bay Guardian acknowledged the artist and director, Brandon Tauszik, through giving their “Helicopter” music video the Best of the Bay 2012’s “Best Use of Classic Film Footage In A Rap Music Video” award.

A few words from Brandon on the soon-to-come piece:

“As soon as I heard the Pictureplane produced track, my brain was overloaded with imagery of beaches, babes, and break dancers. Night after night I scoured innards of YouTube, watching (and re-watching) countless rap videos from the late 80’s and early 90’s. Rap was so contagious back in that era, much less about baseless bragging and talking shit like today’s chart toppers. The videos that inspired me most would have to be from Diamond D, Salt-N-Pepa, and Chubb Rock. After listening to Antwon’s track another 134 times, I came up with a rough treatment that required a sunny weekend in L.A. The rest is history.”
