Levi’s patented the world’s first blue jeans in 1873. Today, the iconic brand typifies American style and spirit.
For this project, the Iron Creative team along with their client at Levi’s needed a snappy spot to showcase their new stretch denim for men.
The ambition for this project was to clearly communicate the features and benefits of Levi's new 'stretch' denim. Director Brandon Tauszik conceived a non-narrative approach, while leaning subtly on the surreal, to achieve eye-catching results.
The Levi's Stretch line is unfortunately not for kung fu, parkour, or the epic marathon run. Crafting exhilarating visuals from authentic and everyday activities was a welcomed challenge. Using a Phantom Flex 4K camera we captured mundane movements at 1000fps as well as some macro flexing of limbs thanks to a 16' trampoline.
