Arcosanti Holiday

Project Overview

Seventy miles north of Phoenix, there exists a cluster of cement pleasure palaces and cypress trees known as Arcosanti. Built in 1970 as a physical manifestation of Paolo Soleri’s theory of compact city design, the antithesis of urban sprawl, and a haven for people who still resonate with Solari’s ideas and philosophies.

Such place caught the attention of RTH store owner Rene Holguin and director Jay Carroll who decided to trek out to the ‘Mad Max-ian’ place last year to shoot the shop’s first-ever lookbook.

Our Role

Editing · Color Correction · Motion

Working closely with Jay Carroll, we transformed seven days of raw footage into a precisely crafted edit, fitting the aesthetic and form of the RTH line. Incorporating multiframe sequences, we wanted to play off the geometry of the architecture while also letting the vibrant characters glimmer in their utopian environment.
